Georgia Pines has re-opened in Colquitt County.  Therapy and psychiatric appointments can be scheduled in the Moultrie office.  Services provided include the following: substance abuse groups, individual counseling, medication management by a psychiatrist.

Counseling provides interactions between the staff and family members directed towards the restoration and enhancement of the identified family unit

Eligibility Requirements: Mental Health diagnosis, referral by physician

David Brown and his wife provide relationship teaching and instruction to Christian married couples.   It is not a fee based program.  Participants contract for four instructional sessions, attend church, and are encouraged to enter a one on one discipleship program.

Family works operates on a sliding scale to zero.  Counseling services are provided by graduate students and professors in the Marriage and Family Therapy program at Valdosta State University.  They provide individual and marriage counseling for a range of issues including divorce, anger management, grief and loss, and child behavior problems.  An appointment can be made by calling the number listed above.  If a call is received in the afternoon it will be returned the following day.
